In the heart of a lush forest lived a colorful parrot named Mitthu. He was famous for his sweet voice and beautiful words. Every morning, he perched on a high branch and sang praises of friendship, love, and kindness.
“I am the most loyal friend!” Mitthu would squawk. “I will always help those in need!”
The animals admired his speech and cheered for his poetry.
Nearby, lived a gentle elephant named Gajraj. He was quiet, slow to speak, but always ready to help. When the river dried, he dug a hole with his trunk to bring water. When a monkey broke his leg, Gajraj carried him to safety.
One day, a fire broke out in the forest. Flames spread fast. Birds flew, rabbits ran, and chaos filled the trees.
Mitthu shouted from above, “Fear not! I will save you all! I am your true friend!”
But when the smoke rose high, Mitthu flapped his wings and flew far away to safety.
Meanwhile, Gajraj ran through the flames, spraying water on burning trees and helping small creatures escape. He carried a baby deer on his back, guided the blind tortoise with his trunk, and refused to leave until all were safe.
When the fire was gone and the forest calmed, the animals sat together.
A young squirrel asked, “Mitthu spoke so many lovely words, but where was he when we needed him?”
The wise owl, who had seen everything, nodded and said,
